I love the way barrels cut off the aggressiveness SB can bring. This is all about balance and deep minerality with hint of oak and fractured mint, sage and other complex herbaceous additions.

I adore SB raised in barrels, and this beauty ain’t no exception to the rule. From 2020 and onwards, this youngster promises to offer even greater complexity, as it’s still fruit centered. Expansive mid-palate and promising drive on the finish. Once it sheds some of its lactic elements, my score will be proven conservative.

Less tropical and less dense than '13 but a great texture and almost crystalline character to the citrus and pear fruits. Drinking great right now.
