Worked well from the sugar snap peas with lardo to the sea bass and everything in between. Decanted!! Improved as the evening progressed. Cherries and spices. Hard to believe it’s 20 years old

Mar 6th, 2017Light colored. Scorched earth, Brett and sour cherry on nose. Great mouthfeel! Plenty of zip, ripe tree fruit with mild bitterness. Light tannins and decent structure. Pure fruit and earthiness on the long finish. Similar to a lighter Cru Beaujolais. A light red with some serious funk and unique flavor. Second day went to hell--all burnt chocolate.
