Bitter grapefruit and crushed granite. Only medium-low acid, but this has such superb density and minerals in spades, the acid feels ok. At first the palate was basic, but this really got going after a few days open: stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas emerging and the wine revealing a new dimension after about 48 hours.
