The 2022 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru, 80% aged in used barrels, has quite a striking and powerful bouquet. It evinces a bit of wood contact that will need a few months to be fully subsumed, yet there is plenty of fruit to soak that up. The palate is very well-balanced, with a bright entry, peachy and zesty. The 2022 has quite a precocious, irresistible finish. Feels pure, oak is super integrated, incredibly golden but not tired. I love these wines for the simplicity. Straightforward, salinity, citrus. Love it.

Fine and pure. Just a touch of wood but so judicious. Clean and mineraly with citrus notes and just a hint tropical. Pure is the key word here. Undeniably Chardonnay, undeniably Chablis.

Amazing! Beautiful! Magnificent structure, elegant bouquet and every hauntingly elusive flavor. Hints of cedar and peach and herbs. This is one of those rare wines that really speaks to you and makes you want to know more.
