Great notes of licorice and leather. Unfortunately, my bottle was faulty, and also had some flavors showing it had been cooked, creating a cough-syrup flavor. An excellent wine, I can tell, but an older bottle like this needs to be stored carefully.

Medium ruby in colour. Jammy red fruit, strawberry, spices, clove, liquorice, dried herbs, paired with med-lvl acidity and tannin and very good length. The medium-bodied, medium-complex wine had good concentration, but the alcohol was completely out of balance. Puff the Magic Dragon! Bargeld enjoyable.
