Les Olivets Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

I felt a need for something fruity/earthy on this cold Chicago night to go with roasted chicken. Les Olivets is the most approachable CdP from this estate and I had this '07 winking at me. Very bright fruit and acid, with lingering minerality on the finish.

As expected in this awesome vintage. Very good! A bit alcoholic, very concentrated.
