What a fun wine. The somm was overly pleased with this pick. Not many 13 year old California Pinots show up on a wine list in Maui. I am a big fan of Santa Rita Hills Pinot and this one does not disappoint. Lots of cola and spice on the nose. Nice tastes of raspberries and cherry cola punctuated with great acidity. A very balanced wine tasting more like a burgandy than a new age California fruit bomb. I predict this wine has a lot of life left if you can find it.
