Charlottes's Home Estate Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

I’ve used Rodney Strong Wines as a bench mark to judge red wines from good to exceptional in Cab Sav, Pinot Noir and Merlot. But I’ve not been exposed to this winery as a White serving....No disappointment here! The wine is balanced with great mouth feel and simply poundable😁 Apple, Honeydew front which lingers into sweet lemon, then finish of cleansing White Grapefruit & light oil. Throughly enjoyed with Cod cakes, home made tarter sauce, potato skin shavings crisped with salt & smoked black pepper. 🍽

Did not like, tasted metallic

$14 Harris Teeter “94”pt. Too light/sweet

Okaaaayyyyy.... very oaky for a SB. Held up for day 2 but didn’t love.

Refreshing in summer but a little tart

It's oaked. Enough said. However it had all the other right things. Would have been excellent if not for the Oak.
