Cracking good stuff. Holding up really well, with tertiaries starting to emerge while there's still good fruit. Great colour. Intensity and balance. Lingers, and then demands another sip. Seems a lot better than more recent offerings.

Took a while to open up, but worth it. Rich with secondary characteristics. There's still fruit there - blackberry and dark cherry - but it's balanced with chewy texture, subtle smoky oak and leather. Hints of eucalyptus and mint. Worked brilliantly with slow cooked beef cheek.
