Still working through the Cabernet tasting from 7 months ago. Oaky on nose with blackberry and black currant. Not up to it in this company IMO. Choc/mint surprisingly for the Barossa. Medium weight unlike Rockford’s Flagship Basket Press Shiraz.

Wow, an amazing Cabernet. 2005 still presenting beautifully, a wonderfully fresh nose representing a really well put together Cabernet. Then you taste it, one of the most lush Cabernets that I have had in recent times, red berries upfront and lush spices in the back. Just classy!
