Rockford are a bit of a cult so I’ll be careful here in case one of the zealots finds out where I live. Took some breathing (2 hours plus) to get this near right and it was good from them but not spectacular. Nice oak and fruit balance and some layers of fruit and vanilla that were pleasing. Disappointing to a degree but still a good wine.

Beautifully weighted and elegant. Blackberry, blackberry leaf, clove and pepper. Singing at the moment.

I've always loved Rockfords wines, this bottle was a bit of a disappointment though, I tasted it blind and gave it a lower score than what I would have expected. Still love a bottle of basket press though!
