Pretty light flavor. Not much body $5 at Total wine. Would be good house wine

Rocalta – Chianti 2023
Chianti DOCG – Tuscany, Italy 🇮🇹

Overview
A straightforward, everyday expression of Sangiovese, crafted under the Chianti DOCG. This is not aiming for complexity but for accessibility and value, delivering a casual red table wine that pairs easily with food.

Aromas & Flavors
Cherry and red currant up front, light touches of dried herbs and tomato leaf. Hints of rustic spice but kept in a lean, youthful frame.

Mouthfeel
Light to medium body with modest tannins, lively acidity, and a crisp, dry finish. A wine that stays easygoing and uncomplicated.

Food Pairings
Pizza Margherita 🍕, Pasta with simple tomato, Antipasti platters with cured meats and hard cheeses

Verdict
A basic Chianti that plays its role well, everyday, affordable, and food-friendly. It won’t wow, but it doesn’t need to. Perfect for casual weekday meals when you want the Tuscan feel without the price tag.
