Ripe blackberry fruit, blackcherry cola, and limestone. Still fresh, dark forest fruit with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Chalky tannins to finish. Better with 30 minutes of air. Lots of life left. Drink now or over the next 3-5 years.

Intense body for an intense wine. Wonderful dark ruby with garnet shades. Intense note of wood (barriques, 50% new), a great leather and tobacco over riped red fruits. A note of under spirit black cherries in the mouth with silky tannins. Perfect acidity (from Sangiovese) to pair a good "ossobuco". 14,5% alcohol but only a few hint of it in the nose. Should be refined in the cellar but it's already a good wine. Ah, a wonderful place to visit, too, with its impressive "barriques arena" by Renzo Piano.

Nice nose a little astringent at first but well knitted and easy through the palate.
