Iron like minerality mingles with earthy red cherry and pomegranate fruit with just a hint of brown spice. Palate has the austerity of the vintage with red and dried cherry fruit. The acid is high toned with slightly rustic but not green tannins. It displays good length with red fruit and an iron rich finish.
