Big notes of caramel and vanilla on the nose. Blackberry, black currant and black cherry fruit flavors with notes of sweet spices and earth. Dark purple color. Full bodied and loaded with fruit. Plush and round with a touch of sweetness on the long finish.

It's amazing how much these wake up if you can just keep your hands off of them. And I still have one more left? Six years, this one is drinking WELL. After this one had been opened for two hours, the bouquet is deep black fruit, truffle, hint of green pepper. The entry is slightly acidic, but has softened somewhat. Fruit is luscious, combination of blackberry and black cherry with a truffle. Black licorice and herbaceous middle with a savory hint. Finishes still with quite a bit of tannin. Very nice. I'll try to hold my other bottle until after 2022, as this one is DEFINITELY still on the rise.

Classic Alexander Valley nose and palate. Nice fruit yet still quite restrained. Good acidity on the front. Dark, punchy black cherry and herb and some subtle green pepper and black pepper on the finish. This one would crush an Alexander Valley Silver Oak both now and 10 years from now. Need to do an 07 side by side comparison soon! Drink or hold this one as it will surely develop over the next 15 yrs.

Very impressive right out of the bottle. Will be interesting to see how it’s doing after a while in the cellar.

LOCKED. UP. Tasted three 14 Cabs over 3 nights: 1 from Montagu, 1 from William Harrison and this one. Out of all 3, this one is the most tannic. The most restricted. And the one with perhaps the most potential. Opened with a great red berry nose, herbal. Middle is black cherry, olive, medium to full bodied. After 2 hours, showing more in the front. Will be more integrated in 2020.

Uncorked the first of the 2013 vintage. This one was very expressive right out of the bottle, but was really kicking some ass at two hours. Classic cab for Sonoma. Blackberry, leather, sandalwood, herbs. Lots of pepper spice on the finish. Great acidity on the front with a fine gritty tannin on the finish. Acidity took a dip to allow a complex front to come through. Man this wine is a baby. The problem is that these bottles usually don't stand a chance. Incredibly age worthy wines, which SHOULD be what off site storage is for........I guess....... Cheers!

Smokey fruit mixed with Tabacco on the nose. A bright ruby red color. Slight acidity but some mid pallet tannins. Nice and smooth on the way down. Just what a long week had called for at this price point if you ask me!
