On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of brambles, stone fruit, tobacco, inorganic earth and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The label is fun and whimsical. The juice is serious. Tasty stuff. Drink now through 2036.

Last bottle was off, this bottle is a great example of a Zinfandel. Fresh cut spring flowers, cinnamon and clove round out nose. Light and fresh on the front of the palate. Cardamom and nutmeg strike the mid palate. Finish is nimble with bright acidity as the star.

Sep 6th, 2017Lush wet nose showing Saturday morning blueberry syrup. Jumps out of the glass. Wonderful nose! Ripe black fruit hits the tongue, candied walnut, soft mouthfeel with balanced tannins and cracked pepper round out the taste. Acidity is slightly high that causes the mouth to water over the ripe black fruit and smoke for a sustained finish. Well done @Rob Sinskey well done! 177 cases produced.

Lots of raspberry when initially opened. Very fruity but not u pleasantly so. A week later it was delicious. Balanced and you could taste the raspberry but it wasn’t all you taste.
