Jun 27th, 2025Aromatically this is dominated by freshly-cut grass aromas that I consider typical of California (but have never cared for as well), palate is nicely framed by some oak notes that soften the grassy aromas and flavors, good, not great, acid, nice drinker but, for me, not at all good QPR on this Napa stalwart. My rating is based on the quality, albeit not a style I much care for (I prefer aged — 10 years or more — Loire SB).
