What a great vintage of this classic. Decanted and started to really get in the zone after an hour/1.5 hours....it seemed to wake up and add weight ND complexity. Classic mature Cabernet notes of forest floor, with dried red fruits and pencil shavings. Structurally very fine and supple. Med+ to long on the finish.

Reddish tawny with amber rims. Fruity, floral nose. Notes of black cherries, blueberries, some subtle wood, mocha, violets and a little red licorice. Nice balance and texture in the mouth. Still has some pucker. Showing nicely at age 25.

Drinking beautifully 26 years in from one of the best vintages in Napa. The finish is stunning and long, there’s smoke and graphite up front, dark fruit at the core that unwinds. A classic.

After an hour of aeration and decanter, a very smooth subtle Cabernet appeared. Perfect pairing with our Beef Filet.
