Private Selection Meritage Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Cherry, caramel, and charcoal appear in the nose. The bouquet is sweet and fruit-forward, with a vegetal component reminiscent of bell pepper, plus some oak and a syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is tannic and suggests smoke.

Serviceable Claret, but a little thin and harsh aftertaste.

My kind of red, smoky and rich!

Dry red. Inexpensive. Not much more to say about it.
