Private Selection Mendoza Malbec

Doesn't taste like a stereotypical Malbec but it's nice. Very fruity but full bodied. Cherry flavors. Dry.

Simplistic Malbec slight oak and dried cranberry. Didn’t stand up to roasted filet mignon but nice sipping on its own

Not a typical malbec.
More like a California blend.
Did not enjoy.

* palate: relatively thin with little texture, fruit forward
* structure: medium bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, 13.5% alcohol

2014 Robert Mondavi Private Select Malbec from Mendoza - very good - great body, good flavor, probably the best Malbec I've had. (not that I've had a ton)
