Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Surprisingly good for something that started as an $18 Cabernet. Dried red cherries, black plum, graphite and pencil shavings, dried mushrooms, and dusty leather. This still has enough acids and tannins to enjoy it with a ribeye, but I don't think anyone should wait too much longer to drink it. It's very subtle and starting to fade away.

First flight for the boys and the new Colorado house. Got everything out n and had a glass of wine.

Double Magnum. It’s an 2005 night. Cork was perfect. Wow !!! Old school, firing on all levels !!!

Cabernet with finesse. Balanced with cassis and earth.

Nice balanced wine, you can taste the oak and plum.

Not as great as their reserve for this vintage, but a decent wine at a decent price point. Not that much fruit on nose or palate. Probably on the ride downhill.

The bottle my college roommates and I bought at our first Suit Dinner in 2007. Rating based on hazy memories and lots of nostalgia.

Blu fruit, blackberries, roasted, long taste, excellent. Smaskens!!
