Linear and straightforward, but with typical Napa character. Dusty black fruit with cassis and some mint.

I don’t always drink Mondavi Wines, but when I do, it’s usually a gift. This was pretty tasty... dry tannins, earthy Bordeaux style

Really lovely—we could easily have waited another decade on this one, but after decanting, it was ready. Rich loamy, fruity nose, and cocoa, soil, blackberry on the palate. It was tense and alive: plenty of deep flavor, not no flabby fruit bomb.
