A clear straw yellow, the lightly oaked '11 Keenan Chardonnay Spring Mountain District is soft and delicate with lovely fresh aromas of poached pear, pineapple, flint and citrus. Decidedly Californian rather than Burgundian in style. Delicious and juicy, not overtly sweet, with just a hint of honey and butterscotch developing on the finish.
