One of the better CS values coming out of Paso Robles right now. Well made, good fruit and finish.

This is a very nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Showing black fruits with earth, chocolates, light vegetables, oak, vanilla, licorice and coke.

Full-bodied and smooth with medium acidity.

Fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries on the finish.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

A good sipping wine.

It's time for my Friday's Cabernet fix. This week it's a nice one from Paso Robles.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Nice fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, cherries, vanilla, cedar, leather, licorice, earth and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, sweet cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, chocolates, tobacco, beef jerky, spices, coffee, herbs and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking very nicely now. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with foods like BBQ Meats. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and then it's just delicious.

Grapes are hand picked and aged for 18 months in oak barrels.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Warm blackberry pie, black currant, chocolate, black pepper, and lots of spice. Soft tannins from the wine itself but quite a bit of barrel tannin on the finish. Overall well developed and doesn't feel too rushed or astringent at just 3 years old.

Strong nose of blueberries, blackberries, licorice, cedar, cloves, vanilla, spices, coffee, earth, eucalyptus, peppercorn and graphite.

Full-bodied, elegant and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black plums, black cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates, light herbs and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine tannins and spicy chili powder.

This is a very nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Very typical and consistent. Showing mild complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Dark and dusty. A nice hearty cab with lasting plum and fig highlighted by a subtle sweet oak.
