Wonderful nose of blueberries, cherries, red currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, figs, earth, graphite, cloves, wild wildflowers, red candy, spices, peppercorn and aluminum.
Medium bodied and velvety, with medium acidity and long legs.
Fruity on the palate and dry with with blackberries, blueberries, plums, oak, light vanilla, licorice, mint, metals, earth, red candy, spices, peppercorn, leather, smoke, coffee and chocolates.
Long finish with soft tannins and black pepper.
What a Great Napa Zinfandel from a great producer (their Petite Sirah was great too). Rich with a nice structure. Well balanced, with nice complexity and a tangy ending. Enjoyable by itself or with food, with a velvety mouthfeel. This Single Vineyard is Delicious.
I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

Battle of the limericks. Man this biale version is good. For a 2015, it is so drinkable now. Really impressive mid palate and excellent balance of oak. Juicy and soft.
