Very nice, but still green bell pepper notes. We usually stay away from quality Zin's for a minimum of 8-10 years past vintage, at that stage they're usually more to our liking (mellow and still fruity). We'll revisit the remainder of the bottle tomorrow.

Dark red but clear. Smells of candy apple, caramel which means it was Oaked with American oak. Smells of meat and mushroom. Green apple is only fruit coming through. Visually high in alcohol due to legs, smells hot, and tastes hot. High in acidity, but balanced with tannin structure and sweetness. Long hot finish.
