Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir
The 2021 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is bright and effusive. Crushed red berry fruit, flowers, dried herbs and a kiss of sweet French oak are nicely lifted. This racy, exuberant Pinot is quite the charmer. It, too, will benefit from a bit of cellaring. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Unrivaled elegance from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Brings a lot of florals in to play with red fruit.

Aug 15th, 2021Maybe the best vintage that I have tasted from Roar. Nose is definitely still closed an hour after decanting. Fruit is rich and what a powe mid-palate! Long finish. Nicely powerful and juicy. Fine tanins. There...enough blabbing.

Dec 7th, 2020Jake gives this a 9.4
A little funk on open that blows off revealing layers of extracted fruit and a full throttle mid-palette.

Quite a distinctive and gorgeous Pinot from Santa Lucia Highlands. Amber color is deceptively light for this full flavored wine. Rustic, woodsy with brightness on the edges. Medium acidity and a really fragrant and long finish. 14.8% ABV and it shows at opening. Needs to blow off a little.
