Montefico Barbaresco Nebbiolo

So much brett. So not okay. Delectable what the fuck happened to the 1-10 scale? Even you inflate scores now?

Decanted for 2.5 hours , nose a bit closed, some cherries, dark fruits, taste very light( almost too light) I find this wine somehow, underperforming, not my best Roagna 😱

Still a young wine and could go many more years. Well balanced with a mushroom and black truffle overtone.

2006 musty nose, drying the aromas

Charity dinner last night. The barbaresco was my favourite. Roagna, powerful. Brunello, big and tight. Barbaresco, fetching and almost supple.
