From Vino Mofo, 2014- cherries, dry, spicy but couldn’t taste much else - Super sour after a few minutes breathing

In the western part of Piemonte the soils are Tortonian, younger calcarious marls. La Morra is here where Nebbiolo came from a single vineyard for this wine.
After 5 years it’s big on aromas (cherry, brambly, dried cranberries, dates, licorice, underbrush, black olives, tar, saw dust) whereas the palate is more subdued. Medium acid and body, it needs time for the firm drying tannins to relax. Very good quality.
