There are times when I feel like I have opened bottles of this wine too you g, and times when I feel like I have waited too long. But on this day, Summa was singing a beautiful song. Gorgeous acidity, deep raspberry and sour cherry fruit shot through with a dusting of dried sage and other herbs, and a lovely dried flower and citrus bite that lingered for a long time. Fantastic.

For me, the smell of Sonoma Pinot. The big stuff. It has its time and place, and paired with pizza is certainly one. One note on the stage: It seems to have exchanged some of the ripe fruit for the candied or dried varieties.

PnP. Way on the hedonistic side of the Pinot spectrum, and delicious for it. Black cherry cola, orange peel, white flowers. Lovely structure, zippy acidity. This is a drinking wine today, but yearns to mature into a food wine in 5-10 years.

Nice red fruits: cranberry, strawberry, and a bit of jam. Some nice vanilla accents and a lovely, balanced mouthfeel.
