Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep color. Primary dried black fruit and tannins. Tart dark fruit and smoky, earthy tones. May be last prime. Drink them if you get them.

Lots of sediment to get around but hit it at its peak

2006 Rivers Marie Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

My last bottle of this vintage. Definitely mature, but there's still plenty of fruit left, even though it's fading just a bit. Inky and dark with lots of cassis, earthiness and refined tannins.

I have had this vintage several times, and it never disappoints.

Aged very nicely. Still had abundant black currants and plum with notes of black olive.

Dark inky color. Deep jammy nose. Dark fruit, big mouth full of jam, a bit of oak and smoke on the finish. Prototypical TRB Cab.

Deep inky purple color. Loads of blackberries, blueberries, and licorice. Nose draws you in. Deep purple and black fruit, loads of licorice. Black cherry, raw cocoa, and jam. Classic TRB wine and prototypical quality Cali cab.

At still need a bit of time. A bit more dark plum and tannin on the finish vs the 04

You teased us twice, so we finally opened ours. Nose was liqerious, with subtle hints of black olives. The taste was bold, but refined, with a long gradual finish.
