Fully resolved. This is a mature Pinot Noir drinking at peak (to my taste) showing charming secondary characteristics of mushroom, forest floor and leather, accompanying the desiccating red fruits. Tannins have all resolved. Drink now.

Cherry cola, caramel, smoked ham notes, always dependable winery, could use a little more fruit, a little subdued but almost ideal, paired with bbq salmon- soy dill glaze.

On the nose it has delicate floral notes of violet and rose hips with a bit of blackberry. The taste is a real ride as you let it breath. Full of hyacinth, bacon and dried black currant. On the back end, subtle tea leave notes, boysenberry and just a hint of pepper to keep the fun going!

Riverbench bench is a small-to-medium winery located in the Santa Maria valley above Santa Barbara that primarily grows pinot noir and chardonnay grapes.
