Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, wood, light vanilla, ripe cherries, oak and minerals.
Medium bodied and balanced with nice acidity.
Medium finish with soft tannins .
This Russian river Pinot Noir Reserve is much nicer than their Sonoma Pinot.
Poured by the wine maker, Joe Freeman, which made this experience even nicer.
13.7% alcohol by volume.

Aug 9th, 2015Spicy, fruity, elegant and smooth Pinot with subtle undertones of raspberry and cola. This is research in preparation of a trip to Sonoma in May and I may just have to add this winery on my list of places to visit.
