"Best White Wine of Show" easily. There were not many white wines at the Great Wines of the Andes tasting and this one I went back to twice. Delicious rich full body with lots of pistachios and tropical notes with bright acidity.

1 person found it helpfulOct 2nd, 20172017 vintage. Aromas of pears, caramel and butter. Bit tired on the palate, as if it had seen better days. Still delicate and subtle though a bit short.

Apr 19th, 2022Burnt hazelnut, oak and vanilla.
Lacking fruit.
Drinkable, but not very likeable.

Dec 30th, 2020Bright, fresh, yet concentrated and tropical. Hazelnut, matchstick, apricot, vanilla, bitterness of oak and limezest in the back. Relatively high acidic mouthfeel for a NW chardo, which could be a good thing, but seems slightly artificial and out of place here.
Seems a tad forward and evolved.
“The Batard-Montrachet of Chile?”
Ehhhh, no.., pretty darn good, but not excellent.
