On the palate, cherries, dark cherries, strawberries, pomegranate, fragrant florals for days, nice soft spices, cinnamon, vanilla, powdery tannins & minerality. Earthy and anise nose. Medium-plus body, bright plum fruit with nice mineral density and savory tones and herbs. Smooth tannins build, with long glycerine-like finish. A kind of dry orange peel flavor (probably a better description, just can't define) that was nice. Very smooth and complex.
