Fairly dark colour, yet still purple which shows medium development, plums, cherries on the nose, hints of spices (thyme, lavender, aniseed), some alcoholic sharpness, round, spicy, not fruity, fairly strong taste, a bit fat, stingy acidity, pleasant but lacks finesse, nice for a glass or two.
