Ever changing, a little mealy and rustic. Metallic edge blew off, the merlot was evident with a red fruit rush. Every sip was different. Paul draper would be proud.

Wow. What a cab! 1982... Beautiful dark color. Tobacco, berry liquor, and graphite. Not vegetal at all

Opened to mushroom funk, truffle, licorice and leather. Starts off linear but after an hour shifts and blackberry, boysenberry, and cedar notes emerge. I have never had a wine of this age need so long to open. Most would have broke down by then, but this just kept getting better. A Rockstar.

Jammy fruits with a gentle background. You can taste the californian sun, and the age just make it better.
