No surprise, this #ridgevineyards Ponzo opens up tight and reductive. Give it at least 30 minutes to breathe and it awakens. Fruit compote, jammy nose with traces of baking spice aromas. Lovely acidity, balanced with firm tannins - a Ridge offering that could easily age for 5 to 7 years longer at minimum.
