Monte Bello Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
I’m down to my last couple of these. This one drank better than the last 2. What you’d expect from a 30 year old Cali cab with proper provenance. Fading quickly but still delicious. Don’t hold for another 5 years. Drink up

May 9th, 2018Fully resolved. Just fantastic. Some felt it was on the downhill slide. I disagree.

May 7th, 2018A gift from @Benjamin Keator and I am so thankful. This wine opens up with candor, displaying a medley of attic musk, dried berries and firewood aromas. Tasting I get heavy red and black currants and dried cherries and cranberries. Glad to have shared with @Arden Barnett and my two roommates.

Santa Cruz Mountain Legend. A cool and challenging year, but screaming delicious. Pronounced tobacco, fall leaves, old travel trunk funk, crushed rock, dried berry medley still vibrant acidity. Almost fully integrated tannins. If you have, it's time to start opening, you won't be let down.
