Wow! 1974 jewel of a wine! Bits of BBQ spice on the nose with sweet core and nuances of forest floor and underbrush. What kills me is the 'glycerine' like envelop over the wine that holds the excellent acid and tannin backbone. These old Zin's drink better than most of the old Cabs! Incredible!!!
