Geyserville Sonoma County Zinfandel Blend

Zinfandel/field blend mastery. Layers upon layers of resinous boysenberry, plums, fall leaves and tobacco. Refined, chewy tannins and long focused finish. Balance above all. This stuff absolutely rocks!!!!!!

Shazaam! Black fruit , herb, mocha dust for days. Acids right where you want it. Durn good!

Corked...too bad because you can tell it would be great and for some reason I keep on drinking it.

Great nose. Aged well, very drinkable.

2006. Caramel/sweet notes. Good tannins.

Rhone garrigue + California fruit = Rigde zin. Ching took the trip to Little Star as a throwing down of the gauntlet and pulled out the semolina flour and cornmeal for a deep dish pie. She even managed to acquire some little gems for salad. Ridge provided the finishing touch.
