The '97 Geyserville was showing a beautifully mature bouquet with crushed cherries, hints of cinnamon, mint and sweet tobacco. On the palate, I found a juicy expression with vibrant acids adding a fresh drink-me personality to it's dried cherry and blueberry fruits with a hint of mint leaf. It finished fresh with medium-length, but so enjoyable in its maturity. I can't imagine this improving, but it's so enjoyable right now.

Mature, classic Zinfandel touch, spicy profile, nice harmony and perfume floral like - but still a bit to sleepy - a nice wine but not my favorite vintage 😐
