Dusi Ranch Paso Robles Zinfandel

Wow, still hanging in there, quite a pleasant surprise.

Birth Year! I know I look 29............but. Barnyardy and punchy. Fresh red fruit still on the palate. Ridiculous.

Gabe's Unicorn wine? Blackberry jam, menthol, licorice, bacon fat, wood vanillin, plush tannins only evident on the finish which follows with a prune/fig newton-like.

Very enjoyable. Impressive fruit, some spice and heat. Delicious and vibrant still, better w food.

Nice classic zin that gives no hint that it's 11 years old.

I'm always happy.

2005. Some VA on opening, but it blows off to reveal red plummy fruit with some drying tannins on the finish. Nice aged zin.
