This is a cool wine and a very unique offering from Ridge. Lighter style, almost like cru Beaujolais. Dried red fruit, bouncy acidity. Some peppery, slightly chalky tannins and mild new oak influence. Fantastic structure and perfect for lighter fare.

Light bodied, cherry and raspberry, burnt caramel. Very subtle wine...almost like an aged red Burgundy. It's not my favorite wine style, but I can't say it's not interesting. I have a second bottle...see you in a few years.
