The unicorn Richard Leroy that just can’t seem to survive any length of time on American wine lists and to no surprise 86d on this occasion. It’s quite reductive begging for a long decant. It’s deep and precise and with zippy acidity showing fiji apple, lanolin and a touch of orange zest. Finishes with great length and tension. The fuss is justified. Great stuff.
