This is another masterful offering from the talented Mr. Bruno! It has a thick dusty tannic structure, with vibrant, dark cherry, plum and currants. There is a hint of rich mocha to the excellent lingering finish. We drank several bottles as a cocktail wine, but tonight paired it quite successfully with smoked Gouda burgers and caramelized onions. Bravo Mr. Bruno! 😺

Feb 22nd, 2019A very impressive effort, this is RB's best wine yet. It is a big wine but not quite so thick as to taste like liquid bread. Rich mocha and dark cherry flavors abound up front, leading into a pleasant, dusty finish.

Uninteresting. Yes, it tasted like a Cab and even a CA cab. But when it is labeled Napa you are hoping for a bit of flare and deeper aromas, slightly longer finish or just something to be memorable. This was ok, just not memorable.
