No hints of 2008 smokiness here. Powerful, fleshy fruit & wonderfully fresh, cracking acidity. Tannins offer a subtle grip, plenty of structure still evident here. Excellent example of Sonoma Pinot.

Large format. Earthy and anise. Needed every bit of an hour to get good. Went well with grilled pork loin.

This one was opened without my knowledge. "I hope it's not expensive" I was told. It was relatively expensive, but since it drinks cheap, the experience is worth money, because I won't be ordering more at that price!
