PNP. Intoxicating purple berry perfume. Pretty fruit and secondary notes. Woody, herbal and in the zone. Not improving with time open so I’d say drink up.

A tasting of nine Rhys Pinot Noirs from the 2008 & 2009 vintages. Jeff Brinkman, Rhys winemaker joined our group. I thought the Bearwallow Vineyard from the Anderson Valley was rich and savory - it was our #1 in the lineup.
