Deep dark garnet color in the glass. Lots of cassis and spice on the nose followed by bold flavors of dark plums, dark currants, dew berries, and licorice on the palate. A little tart but overall nicely integrated and the tannins are silky smooth. An intensely smooth creation by Steve Reynolds. I love it.

2013 vintage. A very savory wine, with flavors of BBQ, leather, roasted tomatoes. Sanguinous and salty—would be good with a rare steak, or a carne asada burrito. High acidity, moderate tannins, full body, grippy, firm, robust, a bit boozy, andvery enjoyable.
