Delicious lighter style Pinot, with a very long finish. They say notes of strawberry and raspberry, but I think it's currant. Delicate, but a winner. Reminds me of a good Vosnee Romanee.

Ooooh. Smooth as velvet. This will sound simple-minded, but very GRAPE-Y. Low alcohol, low tannins. Very little left on the tongue. Great to drink on its own. Wouldn't be nearly as good at room temperature (drinking at about 64).

2010, Rex Hill, Willamette Valley, Pinot Noir. Wine 1 from our PN tasting dinner. Very old world: red fruit, spice and mushroom/forest floor. Well balanced and paired well with smoked salmon crostini.
